Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou, the oldest of four siblings was born on the 8th of August 1976 in Beaumont Puy-de Domme. From a very young age, her dental doctor parents as well as her teacher mother encouraged her passion of drama and theater. Audrey Tautou became a star and was recognized internationally for her role debut as Amelie Poulain in Le Fabuleux Destination d'Amelie. Amelie has been an international box office success and recognized at many awards events around the globe. It's the highest-grossing French film to be released in the United States. Later, in the same year, she was a part of British dramas like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things as well as Jean-Pierre Jeunet The long day of the fiancailles. Then Tautou moved to Hollywood in the United States, where Ron Howard directed the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code.
