Katherine Heigl has opened up about growing up living in "a White bubble." She also shares how this experience has affected the way she raises adopted children that are multiracial. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl shared she was not concerned about the color of her skin until she met her adopted sister from South Korea. "I I asked my sister Meg to tell me if she'd received the same treatment when she went going out with us parents, and another way when she went out by herself without them. She answered, "Oh yeah, always!" Heigl told Parents, "That made me realise that I was so naive." According to the actress, she became angered. However, she wanted to channel her anger into helping the girls she adopted. Heigl's husband Josh Kelley and their son Joshua Bishop Kelley Jr., 4, have been together for thirteen years. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is an Black 8-year old girl that was adopted by the couple in 2012.
